Misson Statement
Planting seeds of
mindfulness, creativity & self-expression through art, yoga & nature based programs.

Vision Statement
Our vision is to create a cultural change for our children. In this age of information and technology, we believe it is important to help create a balance between our inner world and the everchanging world around us. At Seed Studio we strive to offer healthy, creative outlets of self-expression and mindfulness practices that they can continue to use throughout their lives.
Seed studio is a 501 (c)(3) Non-profit.

All of our programs are about
CREATIVITY, DEPTH, BALANCE
and CO-OPERATION
in place of competition.
HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS
Each week we dabble with different media, blending only the finest materials with reusable and recycled materials when we can. We use high quality and real artist art materials such as oil pastels, liquid watercolors, acrylic paints & heavyweight paper to create our artwork.
MULTIPLE UNIQUE PROJECTS
Students create original and unique fine art projects (a mix of open-ended and guided lessons).
We have been known to take on some pretty ambitious projects, so clear some wall and shelf space!
LOW TEACHER/STUDENT RATIO
Each child feels encouraged and challenged as we strive to maintain a ratio of 1:8.
We always have at least two teachers or a teacher, and a L.I.T.E.(leader in training education) in classes and camps, regardless of how small the group is.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF MULTI-AGE CLASSES
Our students have several years to develop their artistic abilities and are able to see themselves as progressive, successful creative learners . They are viewed as unique individuals. We focus on teaching each child according to his or her own strengths. Each child gets to progress at their own pace and honor where they are in their creative process.
The older students have the opportunity to serve as mentors and to take leadership roles. Children are more likely to cooperate than compete. The spirit of cooperation and caring makes it possible for children to help each other as individuals, not see each other as competitors.
AGE APPROPRIATE GROUPS
Students might all be working with chalk pastels at the same time but the project and/or techniques are modified for each age and/or ability.
IT'S YOUR CHILD'S ART
Yes! Your child created their own project without the meddling pencil strokes of a teacher. It's amazing what they can accomplish with a little guidance and enthusiasm!
We are also proud of what we create and love to celebrate with an art show at the end of the week that showcases all the amazing artwork we created throughout the week.
